Overview

Go2Pic ("the App", "we", "us") is operated as a privacy-first, serverless application. We do not operate servers, do not create user accounts, and do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to ourselves. All data generated by your use of this App remains exclusively on your device unless you choose to configure optional third-party services, which are described in full below.

Data We Collect — None

Go2Pic does not collect any data from you. We have no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising SDKs, no telemetry, and no tracking of any kind. We do not know who you are, where you are, or how you use the App.

Data Stored On Your Device

The following data is created and stored locally on your device only, using on-device storage. It is never transmitted to us:

• Saved pins (location coordinates, labels, notes, photos, pin types)
• Custom pin type configurations
• Your configured API keys for Groq and Geoapify
• App preferences and settings

This data is removed permanently when you uninstall the App. There is no account to delete and no server-side data to request removal of.

Device Permissions We Request

• Photo Library — To read GPS coordinates embedded in photos you select, and to attach photos to saved pins. Your photos never leave your device unless you use AI tagging.
• Camera — To take photos when adding them to a saved pin. Photos are stored on your device only.
• Location (When In Use) — To show your current position on the map, drop pins at your location, fetch weather, and find nearby places. Your precise location is never stored or sent to us.

Third-Party AI Services — Explicit Disclosure

This section satisfies platform requirements for AI data disclosure — we are fully transparent about what data is sent to third-party AI services and obtain your explicit consent before doing so.

If you configure a Groq API key in Settings, the following data will be sent to Groq's servers (groq.com):

• AI Chat: Your typed messages and the GPS coordinates and address of your current location context.
• AI Photo Tagging: When saving a pin, the first attached photo is sent to Groq for analysis to generate descriptive tags.

Your explicit consent is obtained before any AI key is saved. You may remove your key at any time in Settings → API Keys. Refer to Groq's Privacy Policy at groq.com/privacy for their data retention details.

Third-Party Places Services

If you configure a Geoapify API key, your approximate GPS coordinates are sent to Geoapify's servers (geoapify.com) to retrieve nearby places. See geoapify.com/privacy-policy.

Without a key, the App uses OpenStreetMap's free Overpass API. Weather data is fetched from Open-Meteo (open-meteo.com), a GDPR-compliant open-source service that does not store personal data.

No Data Sales or Advertising

We do not sell, rent, license, or share your data with any third party for advertising, marketing, or commercial purposes. The App contains no advertisements and we receive no revenue from data. We have no relationship with data brokers.

Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for data processed by third-party services you configure (Groq, Geoapify, OpenStreetMap, Open-Meteo).
• We are not liable for the accuracy of any AI-generated content, place data, weather data, or map information.
• We are not liable for any loss of data resulting from device failure or app deletion.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

Children's Privacy

This App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

California Residents (CCPA)

Go2Pic collects no personal information. We do not sell personal information. These rights are automatically satisfied by our no-collection architecture.

European Users (GDPR)

Go2Pic has no EU data controller relationship with users because we collect no personal data. Third-party services you configure act as independent data controllers under their own GDPR frameworks.

Data Deletion

To delete all data associated with your use of Go2Pic:

• Remove any API keys in Settings → API Keys
• Uninstall the App from your device

All locally stored data is permanently deleted on uninstall. There is no account to delete and no server-side data held by us.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the App's features or applicable legal requirements. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
